Join us for a free Reptile & Bug Club meeting!
Meet local reptile and amphibian enthusiasts, see live animals, bring your own reptiles, amphibians, bugs, or other exotic pets to share with the group (optional), ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others in the hobby.
This month we’re excited to welcome Spooky Sweet Spoods!
Spooky Sweet Spoods is a jumping spider business dedicated to helping people discover just how fascinating these tiny creatures can be. They raise healthy jumping spiders, create unique enclosures and décor, and travel to conventions around the country as vendors.
Jumping Spiders + Behind the Business
We’ll be learning about jumping spider care, behavior, enclosures, and husbandry, along with the story behind Spooky Sweet Spoods, how they built their business, and what it’s like vending at reptile and exotic animal conventions across the country.
Australian Show & Tell
As part of this month’s regular show & tell, we’ll also be highlighting an Australian reptile species and taking a little trip Down Under with a Vegemite sampling! Come meet an animal from Australia and, if you’re brave enough, try one of the country’s most iconic foods.
And yes, bring your animals! Members are encouraged to bring reptiles, amphibians, bugs, and other exotic pets to share with the group.
We’ll also have a variety of live reptiles and invertebrates available for everyone to see and interact with throughout the meeting.
Whether you’re a longtime keeper, curious about jumping spiders, interested in the business side of the reptile hobby, or just getting started, everyone is welcome.
