The Lincoln Herpetological Society (LHS) is a welcoming Illinois-based community for reptile and amphibian enthusiasts of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned keepers. Through meetings, events, and shared knowledge, we focus on education, responsible care, and conservation while building a fun, inclusive space for anyone passionate about herps.

Meetings

Join us for our monthly LHS meetings, held on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at North Riverside Parks & Recreation (2401 Des Plaines Ave, North Riverside, IL 60546). Meetings typically include guest speakers, live animal presentations, club updates, and opportunities to connect with fellow reptile and amphibian enthusiasts of all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new or a longtime keeper, our meetings are designed to be welcoming, educational, and hands-on.
