NOVEMBER LHS GENERAL MEETING 11/9 @ 7PM
Join us for a free Reptile & Bug Club meeting!
Meet local reptile and amphibian enthusiasts, see live animals, ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others in the hobby.
This month we’re excited to welcome special guest Bryan Christy, as seen on HBO’s “Monsters of God”!
Bryan is an investigative reporter, author, filmmaker, and former lawyer who founded National Geographic’s Special Investigations Unit. His work has taken him into the world of illegal wildlife trafficking, exposing the people and networks behind it.
Wildlife Crime + Investigative Journalism
Author of “The Lizard King” and National Geographic’s 2014 Rolex Explorer of the Year, Bryan brings a unique perspective on the reptile trade, wildlife conservation, and investigative storytelling. Join us to hear about his career and the stories behind his work.
And yes, bring your animals!
Members are encouraged to bring reptiles, amphibians, bugs, and other exotic pets to share with the group. Bringing an animal is completely optional—come hang out and enjoy the meeting either way!
We’ll also have a variety of live reptiles and invertebrates available for everyone to see and interact with throughout the meeting.
Whether you’re a longtime keeper, interested in wildlife conservation, or just getting started, everyone is welcome.
