Meet local reptile and amphibian enthusiasts, see live reptiles, bring your own reptiles, amphibians, bugs, or other exotic pets to share with the group (optional), ask questions, share experiences, and help plan future outings and events.
This month we’re excited to welcome guest speaker Jack Chavez! Jack is a Chicagoland paranormal researcher, founder of Chicago Paranormal, tour guide, and host of the Chicago Paranormal Convention.
Reptilians: Humanoid Reptiles in American Cryptozoology
Bigfoot and lake monsters are well known in the paranormal world, but lesser known are reports of reptilian or humanoid reptile creatures sighted throughout the United States. Jack will dive into some of the cases that helped put reptilians on the cryptozoology map and explore the strange stories behind these sightings.
And yes, bring your animals! Even though this month features a guest presentation, members are still encouraged to bring reptiles, amphibians, bugs, and other exotic pets to share with the group.
We’ll also have a variety of live reptiles and invertebrates available for everyone to see and interact with throughout the meeting.
Whether you’re a longtime keeper, interested in cryptozoology, or just getting into reptiles, everyone is welcome.
