Reptile Den Day 2026!

Reptile Den Day 2026 was our biggest event to date, bringing together over 1,000 attendees for a full day of hands-on wildlife education, live animal encounters, and community engagement. Hosted in partnership with the North Riverside Park & Recreation Department and the North Riverside Public Library, the event transformed the space into an immersive experience centered around reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates from around the world.

Guests had the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits, watch live presentations throughout the day, and get up close with a wide variety of ambassador animals. From families and first-time visitors to longtime enthusiasts, the event was designed to be accessible, educational, and engaging for all experience levels.

This year’s success was made possible with the support of our partners, including Bensenville Animal Hospital, Anime Magic, Krause Creations, and The Reptile Den team. Their involvement helped expand the scope of the event, enhance the exhibits, and create a more dynamic experience for everyone in attendance.

With record turnout and expanded programming, Reptile Den Day 2026 marked a major step forward in our mission to connect people with wildlife through education, interaction, and unforgettable experiences.
